My Industrial Trading is a company specialized in processing steel to make it into protection plates, for security company, governement building protection, military base and armored vehicule,...
My task on this project was to find a way to present a "dry domain" (client quote) in a very distinct and personal way. The use of the yellow dominant allowed us to make the website and the company branding pop compared to most steel companies that stays in the range of greys and blues, while the use of neumorphism buttons and CTA give the design a modern and more discreet approach.
Making use of the sitemap that was relatively simple, we pushed on making the experience of browsing the website different from others in the same business : an horizontal scroll for the main page, while the rest of the website stay in a vertical scrolling, to give the user their usual scrolling behaviour as well as a better way to present the content. This allow My Industrial Trading to make a good impact on the first access, while not shocking the habits of people not used to such type of website experience as they browse the information they are looking for.
One of the challenge of this website was to stay coherent between the actual experience, and the possible lack of content due to NDA, given the very specific area of work that MIT trades in.
